We had a pretty active morning. We started the morning off with a bottle and a nap. After the nap, Jack took a bath. He loves the bathtub!! He can be pitching a fit and as soon as that little rear reaches the water he is in heaven. I love to watch his facial expressions while I’m washing him. They change every time he takes a bath! After the fun bath, Jack took another bottle and another nap. A short while later, my parents showed up to play with Jack while I got ready for the day. This is always such a big help for me! They love to come over and play with their grandbaby!
After yet another bottle and nap, it was time to get ready to leave! Brian came home from work around one o’clock and we prepared for our day long trip to Jacksonville and back. I am pretty sure the time spent in the car was enough to knock Jack out. He did wonderfully on the way down to Jacksonville. He continued to do great for the two hours that it took for us to complete our errands….unfortunately; we ended with a screaming child who was not happy to be placed back into his car seat after tasting freedom!

(Does this face not just break your heart??)
Jack hasn’t cried like that since he was in the hospital. I usually can get to him before he starts wailing! I felt awful. However, the amount of screaming that he did knocked him out! We arrived home at 7:30 and Jack took a bottle and then passed out!!! He slept from eight o’clock until three o’clock in the morning! It was wonderful!!
The long day really wore him out and the crying, I think, was the last straw. Jack had had enough!!!
Normally, he will sleep for four to five hours after his seven thirty bottle, but we have never experienced a seven hour sleep period! Let’s just say…he killed his bottle at 3 in the morning!!!!

Aren't those pouty faces so sweet?! I love when Emma gets frustrated and pokes her bottom lip out - it breaks my heart, but it's so adorable at the same time :). I'm glad things are going so well with Jack! I never imagined being a Mommy would be this WONDERFUL - I LOVE IT!
