Dinner...what to do
This week I have not one ounce of energy to make dinner for my hard working man. There is something about pulling out frozen chicken breasts to thaw that makes me cringe. I am pretty sure the reason for this is because all we eat is chicken. Really. I will buy a large thing of frozen chicken breasts at Costco and we usually just eat, well, chicken. Brian did speak up and tell me that he is not one of those men who need a hot meal when they get home. But, let's be honest, all men are eaters...regardless, they all will eat a cooked meal. He also gave me specific directions for dinner that excluded everything but chicken. (He wants to be healthy) So, I have, to the best of my skills, prepared and marinated and grilled and baked a lot of chicken. I try my best to come up with fun dinner ideas, and I usually enjoy preparing our meals. This week...not so much! So, I salute all of you who enjoy creating meals for your family. I just don't have it in me this week. sidenote: in order to create fun meals for dinner, you have to be willing to go to the grocery store. Something I do not enjoy. I will leave you with a positive note: I did see Paula Dean cooking, what seemed like, a really easy casserole that I would love to try! Maybe that will get me going again! And just in case you want to see my baby...
Jack is not having a bit of trouble eating his meals. Plus, they are easy to prepare! We have discovered that he does not like bananas!! He is such a big boy!

Family Time
Alright, so Chris and Ginger came into town last night and brought their two little angels with them. While Ginger and I were pregnant, we would daydream about how much fun it was going to be once Jack, Bronson, and Kendall could all play together! We would talk about how Jack and Bronson will want to be rough boys, always playing in the dirt and fighting. It seems now that Kendall is going to be the one who gives these two guys a run for their money. She will most certainly be the ring leader in all of the fun. As Ginger and I were fixing dinner, we looked over and noticed all three kiddos laughing and playing together! It was the most adorable thing that I have ever seen. Oh, it is going to be fun to watch these babies grow. Kendall is almost two and Bronson is a good month or so older than Jack. Really, they are too cute.

Just a Few Things
Some things that I am grateful for....
This is my Husband, our son, and our dog. These three boys are the center of my universe and without any one of them, I would not be the person I am today.

This is my mom, allowing Jack to explore the backyard. I am grateful for this moment.

These are my new pink flip flops. They make me smile every time I put them on...they are hot pink, I think that is why.

This is Sydney and her brother Max. These two are the most charming angels you will ever meet.

This is Jack and his Bull. Jack can't get enough of him.

This is Jack sleeping. I really am grateful for these moments.

And finally, I am so super grateful for the full night of rest that I had last night. (I would have taken a picture of that, but I was sleeping, and I'm sure it wouldn't have been that cute!)
For now, back to laundry.

Yard Sale Mania
I love yard sales! This weekend, Huntsville's Hampton Cove neighborhood had one large yard sale. Seriously, there were police cars controlling traffic! House after house was filled with random stuff, or what the owner may deem as junk! Well, some of that junk became our treasure. Really! My parents found an awesome Ethan Allen desk for 20.00! Also, they were able to pick up a crib, for my sister-in-law, a really nice white chair for our living room, and a beautiful coffee table! Yard sales are just great! Now, would I love to be able to pick out really nice furniture in a lovely store? Of course, but when you can find the same thing for less...why not?? This time last year, I was able to find Jack's crib, changing table, and bassinet all in one day and under 100.00! Needless to say, I'm loving these great finds!!
And just in case you want to see my baby...

Big News
I am kicking postpartum's tail...or the Prozac is! Whatever it is, it is working. I just can't tell you how great it feels to want to get out and enjoy a day! So, this brings me to the fact that I ACTUALLY sent in a cover letter and resume to Whitesburg Middle School! Everybody, please say a million prayers that they will at least call me for an interview! I can knock their socks off then! Oh, and pray that I am the only English teacher in Huntsville that wants this job!! hee! hee! I know that whatever happens there is a rhyme and reason. Nonetheless, I am very excited about the opportunity or thought of being able to get into a classroom.
Happy May everyone!
Olivia, do you know if Bitty taught at Whitesburg?
