I have an INTERVIEW tomorrow at Columbia High School. Everyone please pray that I will be able to express my teaching ideas and experiences clearly.
I had an interview at Guntersville High School at the beginning of this month and have not heard anything back yet. I am not too sure if that interview went so well. So, this one needs to be better!! Columbia High School seems to integrate a lot of technology in the every day classroom. This excites me. Alright, just a little prayer request. I have to secure a job next year.
I know that God will place me in the school that he chooses and I find so much comfort in that.
Wish me Luck tomorrow!

Splish Splash
We took Jack to the pool for the very first time the other weekend. I was a nervous wreck. I doused him in baby 50spf sunscreen at least twice before we left the house and then three more times while we were there. I was a real joy to be around. Fortunately, Jack is so laid back these days that he loved every minute! The water was a little chilly but it did not stop him from splish-splashing the entire time. Brian showed him the ropes and once he proved to me that everything would be ok, I lightened up and joined in the fun. You only have your first swim once, right???

A Trip to the Island
A few weekends ago, the entire family got together in Dauphin Island. My aunt has a home there and it has always been the best place in the world to spend time with family. Honestly, I love seeing my cousins and aunts, my grandmother, and my uncle. It was ecspecially exciting because Jack was able to celebrate his great-gommy's 82nd birthday with her.

Hello World
It has been some time since my last real blog entry. There have been a lot of things happening in my world lately. I have welcomed the busyness with open arms. I will try and pace myself on this entry and not overload you with details of events in one very long blog entry.
Now, you probably remember me telling you about the problems with our desktop and how it captured a virus….or the virus captured it. However it happened, it put me out of internet commission for too long. And then, miraculously, I remember about our laptop…duh. And then that computer’s hard drive really messed up. I can only describe it to you as “messed up” because I have no idea how to explain it any other way. So, we finally found a place to get the computers fixed and we paid a load of money JUST to have them tell us what the problem was. I do know that that business needs to work on communicating. It took ONE entire week for them to tell us that the computers needed to be fixed. Well, really? So, then they proceeded to explain to us that it will cost at least 200.00 dollars to fix just the desktop. Are you kidding me? We already paid a good 170.00 just to find out what was wrong with the computers. Paying more was not a luxury Brian and I could afford. So, then we went on vacation. After returning home, we found a family friend to help us out. I am now just waiting on Comcast to come and help me establish some kind of ISP. (Oh, I’m writing this in word)
After this mess, I will NEVER ignore the reminders that the antivirus people send out!!! EVER.
Get ready folks…I will be back in full swing in no time! I have to wait on posting some pictures…our camera… if it isn’t one thing, than it is another!

Dinner...what to do
This week I have not one ounce of energy to make dinner for my hard working man. There is something about pulling out frozen chicken breasts to thaw that makes me cringe. I am pretty sure the reason for this is because all we eat is chicken. Really. I will buy a large thing of frozen chicken breasts at Costco and we usually just eat, well, chicken. Brian did speak up and tell me that he is not one of those men who need a hot meal when they get home. But, let's be honest, all men are eaters...regardless, they all will eat a cooked meal. He also gave me specific directions for dinner that excluded everything but chicken. (He wants to be healthy) So, I have, to the best of my skills, prepared and marinated and grilled and baked a lot of chicken. I try my best to come up with fun dinner ideas, and I usually enjoy preparing our meals. This week...not so much! So, I salute all of you who enjoy creating meals for your family. I just don't have it in me this week. sidenote: in order to create fun meals for dinner, you have to be willing to go to the grocery store. Something I do not enjoy. I will leave you with a positive note: I did see Paula Dean cooking, what seemed like, a really easy casserole that I would love to try! Maybe that will get me going again! And just in case you want to see my baby...
Jack is not having a bit of trouble eating his meals. Plus, they are easy to prepare! We have discovered that he does not like bananas!! He is such a big boy!

Family Time
Alright, so Chris and Ginger came into town last night and brought their two little angels with them. While Ginger and I were pregnant, we would daydream about how much fun it was going to be once Jack, Bronson, and Kendall could all play together! We would talk about how Jack and Bronson will want to be rough boys, always playing in the dirt and fighting. It seems now that Kendall is going to be the one who gives these two guys a run for their money. She will most certainly be the ring leader in all of the fun. As Ginger and I were fixing dinner, we looked over and noticed all three kiddos laughing and playing together! It was the most adorable thing that I have ever seen. Oh, it is going to be fun to watch these babies grow. Kendall is almost two and Bronson is a good month or so older than Jack. Really, they are too cute.
